Dear Friends, Family and Loved Ones,
This is a very exciting time for someone you know! The Greenville College Dominican Republic Team is gearing up for their Friday departure. Our team met a couple nights ago to catch up after Christmas break and talk about last minute details. Brian Reinhard was in charge of pre-field training and we munched on some yummy brownies (Thanks Erica!). The team is scheduled to leave at 6:05am on Friday, January 8th and will return Thursday, January 21st around 4:30pm.
As a team, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your endless prayer and financial support, as well as encouragement through this process. God has definitely orchestrated something beautiful and we are all so very excited to see where He leads us as we serve in the DR at the different ministry sites (Sports, Medical, Social Work).
Please continue to pray for the team as we travel tomorrow, adjust to a different culture and serve at our ministry sites. :) Our team is so excited to get out of the 10s/20s and get into the 70s/80s! We are excited to see God's miracles and to serve Him in the DR.
