2 Updates Today!

From Brian Reinhard-

We had a good today. We were actually able to play softball against some Dominican women.
The girls had fun and it was a good ministry opportunity for them (and we won of course) :)
This group of girls has been great. I have received comments from people here that this is one of the best groups they have had as far as attitude and working and getting along together, etc...
They are doing GREAT!!
God is blessing and is at work in Jarabacoa.

SO GLAD THEY WON THE GAME!!! There were 3 soccer girls (Rachel Z., Rachel S., and Kayla) and we were all laughing when we told them that they would have to play in the softball game at one of our meetings before they left. They said, "We kick balls, we don't throw them!" The Dominican girls are definitely catching on to the game of softball. I know that they are really interested in pitching because from what Brian told us, they don't use the windmill, they do a slingshot type of pitch. I hope they recorded some of it or got some good pictures :)

  1. No posts on the earthquakes by DR’s neighbor, Haiti. So was wondering how it’s being perceived in the DR? Besides staying safe, how are you all handling it? How is it impacting your mission? Has it changed? Interested in getting anyone’s take on it all.

    Thanks, and continued blessings, Rodo
